Thank you again Jonathon for your courage to speak the truth.
The ministry & all perpetrators need to read about the Millstone Jesus spoke about - that's what Jesus said would be better for those who harm/hurt any of his little ones.
I agree, I wish there was better things to write about, and actually, there will be. I wanted to lay the groundwork first, and lay bare all of the different aspects of this scandal, but stay tuned for some more positive and hopeful stuff coming
Your statement “That’s what Jesus would do!” reminds me of the saying going around several years ago and placed on rubber wristbands “WWJD” -What would Jesus do?” the idea to help guide people’s decisions. The attitude of the “worker Church” has been to not take part in such because -that is what the “worldly churches” promote or do.
Well said, “Hardcore exclusivity and false humility.”
The sad thing is many really do believe they are God’s true ministry and the worker church is God’s only true way!
Last year at our special meeting, the overseer in our state said, “I am more convinced than ever that this is God’s true ministry.” Prescott’s ministry instead of Jesus saving Grace!
I think a key thing that makes it so difficult for most who are in, to figure out the worker church and ministry are not God’s only true church and ministry,
is they have seen good things that have been done.

💯Jonathan. As always I love your writing but just wish you had better news to write about. But I think we’ve all given up on that by now😢

If only they would live what Jesus would do!

Yeah, it's a very narrow minded perspective based on hardcore exclusivity and false humility
That terrible legacy: them and us. SO contrary to the Gospel 💓

Yeah, there's a difference between "this is a ministry inspired by God" and "this is the ONLY ministry inspired by God".
This ministry COULD do good things, and in some contexts, has done good things. But no amount of "good" can outweigh the tragedy
